Systems Innovator 

About the Role:

As a Systems Innovator, you will be a key part of a dedicated prevention workforce, embedded within the West Auckland community. Your role will drive systems change by co-designing and collaborating with local partners to create sustainable impact. You will have a focus on engaging with Pasifika communities, identifying leverage points for large-scale change, and unlocking new partnerships that enable innovation and growth to achieve community health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead co-design and collaboration efforts to foster sustainable change at the local level.
  • Engage and support initiatives within Pasifika communities, ensuring culturally relevant approaches.
  • Identify leverage points across systems and settings in the Waitākere community to enable large-scale systems change.
  • Build and nurture new partnerships with expected and unexpected partners to drive innovation and secure opportunities for change.

About You

You are passionate about creating systemic change within communities and have a keen interest in working with diverse populations, particularly Pasifika communities. You bring a helicopter view, understanding the broader system dynamics and identifying opportunities for transformative action. Empathy, innovation, and a deep understanding of what motivates others are key strengths, alongside your ability to broker relationships and accelerate new ideas. Your understanding of systems thinking and, where appropriate, te ao Māori approaches, equips you to support the workforce in delivering impactful outcomes.

Asian Outcomes Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Asian Outcomes Lead to join our team in West Auckland. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing a strategic, insights-led approach to engage with and support our priority Asian communities to thrive. You will play a key role in ensuring that our initiatives align with system-level outcomes, as well as support our staff to better understand how they can effectively engage and support our targeted Asian communities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategy Development and Implementation: Lead the implementation of the ActivAsian initiative in West Auckland, ensuring activities are based on community driven insights and co-designed with community to achieve outcomes for priority Asian communities.
  2. Organisational Capability Building: Develop and lead initiatives to enhance internal knowledge, capability, and confidence within our organisation, enabling effective support for our Asian community-focused outcomes.
  3. Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture partnerships at the local level, acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders in the Asian community, and guide them towards appropriate support and resources.
  4. Regional Network Collaboration: Engage with the Auckland regional ActivAsian network to support the development and alignment of local and regional initiatives, ensuring cohesive efforts towards shared outcomes.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the Asian communities in West Auckland. You possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Your experience in leveraging insights and data to drive sustainable systems change sets you apart. As a proactive and passionate leader, you are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and achieving impactful outcomes for the Asian communities we serve
